Circa Amsterdam is the first circular event location in the Netherlands, and one of the most iconic buildings in Amsterdam. As soon as you step over the threshold, you get that wow feeling! The geodetic dome construction of Circa Amsterdam, introduced at the World Expo of Montreal in 1967, is made of all recycled materials, and the same applies to almost the entire interior design.
The location is suitable for groups of up to 3,000 people. With a total floor surface of 5,000 m², a beautiful foyer, an upper deck on the second floor and 11 flexible sub spaces, this top location offers everything you need for a perfect event.
Your mission
As Project Manager Catering, you are responsible for the preparation and execution of the catering at Circa Amsterdam. You will take on an advising role towards our clients, and make sure that everything is perfectly prepared and passed on to the Catering Manager. Together with your team, you will give your all for the perfect event and the perfect experience for our guests. You will get the unique opportunity to build and professionalise our own catering label.
Your responsibilities
- Independent project manager for the catering of all our events
- Clients’ contact person for catering, advising and supporting role
- Leading role in the preparation and execution phases of various events
- You will work closely with our partners, Catering Managers, location managers and other colleagues
- Responsible for the planning of logistics and staff for the catering
- Responsible for briefing and management of the Catering Manager and employees
- The financial settlement of events
- You will work according to the budget of the client, and are co-responsible for the results of events

- You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience
- You have completed at HBO education, such as the Hotel management school, Leisure Event Management, Facility Service, or another course in this area.
